Description:  Obverse: Bust of Phocas facing, bearded, wearing cross topped crown with pendilia, chlamys, with loros scarf draped over shoulders, holding mappa aloft in r. hand. Reverse: Cross potent; a pellet to the l. and r. Below the cross, XX; a pellet to the l. and r.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N FOCA PЄRP (Our lord Phocas, eternal). Indiction year: AN S (Year 602-603). Reverse: F O/C A (Phocas).
