Description:  Obverse: Bust of Maurice facing, wearing chlamys with loros scarf draped over shoulders, and trefoil-topped crown with pendilia, holding mappa aloft in r. hand, and easgle-topped sceptre in l. hand. Reverse: M; cross above.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: ∂ N mAU ΓIbЄP CN P AU (Our lord Maurice Tiberius, eternal Augustus). Reverse: ANN• XЧI (Year 16). Mint mark: τHЄUP'. Control mark: Γ (3).
