Description: Obverse: Cross crosslet above three steps, each arm ending in a pellet and a pellet at either side below, with X at the central crossing, and crescent on the shaft; to l. bust of Michael facing, wearing chlamys with tablion and crown with cross and pendilia; to r. bust of Maria, wearing modified loros with collar-piece and crown with pinnacles and pendilia; triple linear crown. Reverse: - + - above legend, - · - below legend.
