Description: Obverse: Cross crosslet above three steps, each arm ending in a pellet and with a pellet at either side below, with X at central intersection, and crescent on shaft; to l. bust of Michael facing, wearing chlamys with tablion and crown with cross and pendilia; to r. bust of Maria, wearing modified loros with collar-piece and crown with pinnacles and pendilia; single linear border. Reverse: - + - above legend.
