Description:  Obverse: Cross crosslet above three steps, each arm ending in a pellet and with a pellet at either side below, with X at central intersection, and crescent on shaft; to l. bust of Michael facing, wearing chlamys with tablion and crown with cross and pendilia; to r. bust of Maria, wearing modified loros with collar-piece and crown with pinnacles and pendilia; single linear border. Reverse: - + - above legend.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: ЄNTȣTNI / HΛTCΠIIΛ (In this you conquer, Michael) Reverse: ΘHЄR,Θ, / MIXAHΛ / ΔЄCΠOTH / TWΔOV / - KA - (Mother of God, aid Michael, despot, of the Doukai)
