Description: Obverse: Bust of Julian, facing l. cuirassed, diademed, helmeted, bearded, with spear in r. hand and shield in l. hand. Reverse: inscription surrounded by laurel wreath.
Inscriptions: Obverse: D N FL JL IVLI ANVS P F AVG (our lord Flavius Claudius Julian pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: VOT / X / MV·LT / XX (prayers for 10 years of rule, more for the 20th anniversary). Mint mark: VRB·ROM·T (mint of Roma).
