Description: Obverse: Bust of Valens, facing l. draped, cuirassed, diademed, with mappa in r. hand and sceptre in l. hand. Reverse: two emperors, draped, nimbate, enthroned both with mappa in r. hand and sceptre in l. hand. At the outer side of both's feet a captive.
Inscriptions: Obverse: D N VALENS P Γ AVC (our lord Valens pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: VOTH PV BLICA (official prayers). Mint mark: CONS (mint of Constantinopolis).

Notes: Holed. Mint mark is CONS instead of [star]CONS[laurel wreath].
