Description:  Obverse: Bust of Gratian, facing r. draped, cuirassed, diademed. Reverse: Victory with laurel wreath in r. hand and palm in l. hand.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N CDATIA NVJ V F AVC (our lord Gratian pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: SECEDII… DEIPVBLICΛI (security of the Republic). Mint mark: IM[three pellets]RT (mint of Roma).

Bibliography:  RIC IX 24b or 28c var.

Notes:  Symbol in the middle of mint mark is three pellets instead of a leaf.
