Description:  Obverse: Bust of Valentinian, facing r. draped, cuirassed, diademed, helmeted, with spear in r. hand and shield in l. hand. Reverse: Emperor on ship raising r. hand, behind him a Victory.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N VALENTINIANVS P F HVC (our lord Valentinian pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: CLOHIH AO MANODVM (glory of the Romans). Mint mark: CON □ (Constantinopolis 4).
