Description:  Obverse: Bust of Theodosius, facing l. draped, diademed, with sceptre in l. hand and mappa in r. hand. Reverse: camp gate with two towers and Christogram over it.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N CHEODO SIVS P F ΛVC (our lord Theodosius pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: CLORIA REI BVBLICE (glory of the Republic). Mint mark: TCC (mint of Thessalonica).
