Description: Obverse: Bust of Theodosius, facing 3/4 r. cuirassed, diademed, helmeted, with spear in r. hand and shield in l. hand. Reverse: Victory with cruciform sceptre in r. hand.
Inscriptions: Obverse: D H THEODO SIVS P F ΛVC (our lord Theodosius pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: VOT XX MVLT XXX (prayers for 20 years of rule, more for the 30th anniversary). Mint mark: CONO B (Constantinopolis 2).
