Supporting 'trees', intended as a holder for carving knives and forks.

This brass figure depicts a woman kneeling between two trees. As well as being visually striking it has another purpose; the trees can act as a stand for a carving knife or fork. A beautifully decorative piece on its own, this also shows the link between women and food, an important one across Africa.
