These 12-cavity magnetrons were designed to generate microwaves of wavelength 10.7 cm. The anode-cathode potential was 25 kV and the current 40 A, generating a pulsed output power of 400 kW. The magnetron would be used in a magnetic field of about 0.12 T
Magnetron A is complete and has wooden packing measuring 28 x 10 x 8 cm. (Image b.)
Magnetron B is cut open to display interior. (image c)

Inscriptions / Translations:  CV120 No. 19971
