Corinthian aryballos of buff-orange clay, with red-black paint, misfired. Starburst on top of lip and vertical lines on the edge of the lip. Vertical lines either side of the handle and a ‘wiggly’ to its centre. Another starburst on the shoulder. On the body, two bulls face one another, heads down. Flowers scattered over the background. Incised detail on the bulls and flowers. On the base, an incised concentric circle and indented dot, with a starburst painted over it. Colour: paint 2.5YR 3/4 (dark reddish brown), black 10YR 2/1 (black), fabric 10YR 5/6 (yellowish brown)-underside, 10YR 7/4 (very pale brown)-upper surface.Complete and in good condition.
