Medal in original box made of red leather ‘latch’ and labelled ‘Order of Merit’ outside and ‘Collingwood Jewellers Ltd’ on the inside. There is a detachable velvet lining inside where the medal sits. The medal itself is on a red and blue striped ribbon and consists of gold with red and blue enamel. (Obverse) ‘For merit’ is written in gold surrounded by a green laurel wreath. The whole medal is surmounted by a crown where the ribbon joins. (Reverse) Monogram ‘PE.EP VII’ (?) in gold. Awarded 3 June 1929.
