History of the Corporation of Birmingham by John Thackray Bunce. Green Hardback, with gold text on spine as well as gold lines along front and back cover. Golden design of a shield and floral pattern inside a circle is in the centre of the front cover with the word 'Forward' beneath (Coat of Arms of Birmingham)'. Corners of the covers are suffed and damaged as well as the indentations on the book spine. Inside cover is colourful pattern predominantly red, blue and gold. Some stains on multiple pages. 'Worral Binder Birmingham' is printed on the inside corner of the first page. Published by Cornish Brothers. Volume 1 of 2. Other volume carries personal bookplate of Sir John Benjamin Stone.
