Book of Horticultural Prints. Hardback book with marbling on cover, and 'Horticultural Prints' in cartouche. Contains 30 colour plates drawn from Vols III to VII of the Transactions of the Horticultural Society of London, covering mainly chrysanthemums and fruit. Botanical artists include W. Clarke and William Hooker. Inscribed in ink inside front cover: 'R. J. Harper New Lodge 1829', and in pencil 'J. Edmund Southall' and 'Geraldine Southall Cadbury' (who were siblings). Given to Prof. Jack Hawkes by Dorothy Cadbury, daughter of Geraldine Cadbury. Dorothy Cadbury and Jack Hawkes worked together on A Computer Mapped Flora of Warwickshire in the 1950s-1960s.
