Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Mars, naked but helmeted and cloaked, walking facing r., holding spear in r. and trophy in l. over shoulder.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP C PROBVS.P.F.HVC (Imperator Caesar Probus Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: VIRTVS …C (Courage of the Emperor). In Exergue: PXXT

Notes:  In accordance with RIC, the PXXT in the exergue of the reverse are mintmarks indicating Ticinum.
