Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed and wearing imperial mantle, holding sceptre surmounted by eagle, facing l. Reverse: Sol, naked but cloaked and radiate, standing frontally, head facing l., raising r. and holding globe in l.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMΓ C PROBVS HVC CONS II (Imperator Caesar Probus Augustus, Consul for the Second Time). Reverse: CONSc-R-V-HT HVC (Protector of the Emperor). In Exergue: TXXT

Notes:  Silvered. In accordance with RIC, the TXXT in the exergue of the reverse are mintmarks indicating Ticinum.
