Description: Obverse: Tiberios standing, wearing military dress, holding globus cruciger in l. hand. Reverse: M denomination mark, with emperor's monogram above, star below, and cross to r. and l.
Inscriptions: Obverse: None visible. Reverse: None visible. Mint Mark: ...CL.
Bibliography: DOC II.2 pl.XLII AE33.2; MIB III Tiberius pl.45 Küpfer 80.
Notes: Coin is overstruck, with both overtype and undertype depicting Tiberios III monogram. These are presumably Hahn's types nos.79 and 80, but lack of presence of palm branches or bust of undertype means this cannot be confirmed. This type is known to be later due to overstriking evidence (MIB III p.190). Hahn's dating is used here but it is not certain.
