Description:  Obverse: Facing bust of Justinian, wearing curiass and plumed helmet with pendilia, in r. hand globus cruciger, on l. shoulder shield with horseman device, cross in r. of field. Reverse: M, chrismon above.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: DN IVSTINI ANVS PPAVC (Our lord Justinian Emperor in perpetuity). Reverse: ANNO XЧII (year 17). Off: A (1). Mint mark: NIKO.
