Reverse: + LЄON CЄ ALЄJ AGG (Leo and Alexander, emperors). Bibliography: DOC III.2 13a (Constantinople) Notes: This type is listed as Constantinople by Dumbarton Oaks, and unknown mint by Bibliotheque Nationale, but is stylistically and in terms of content extremely similar to types of Sicilian coins of Theophilos. |
