Description:  Obverse: (Original, uppermost layer) To the l., Herakleios facing, standing, with moustache and beard, wearing military attire, holding a sceptre in r. hand. A monogram of Herakleios in the l. of the field. (Countermark) To the l., bust of Herakleios facing, with moustache and long beard, wearing paludamentum, and cross-topped crown. To the r., bust of Constantine III facing, bearded, wearing paludamentum, and cross-topped crown. A cross between their heads. Reverse: (Original, type one) None visible. (Original, type two) None visible. (Countermark) Monogram of Herakleios.
